Fuerteventura is the second largest island of the Canary Islands and about 100 km away from the African continent. About 100.000 inhabitants live on Fuerteventura, the national language is Spanish. Fuerteventura offers over 250 km of beaches and a bizzare landscape.
With approx. 23 degrees in the year average and approx. 300 sunny days Fuerteventura is an ideal year-round destination and therefore also suitable for "wintering".
In the south of Fuerteventura, Morro Jable/Jandía and Costa Calma are the biggest tourist places with wonderful white sandy beaches. In the north these are Corralejo and Caleta de Fuste. The west coast near La Pared offers ideal conditions for those seeking peace and quiet.
